Rehabilitation work at Tbilisi Central

Georgian Railway has begun the rehabilitation of Tbilisi Central. According to the project, the first, second, and third platforms will be completely renovated. The rehabilitation work includes the removal of the underground passage between the platforms, as well as the stairs leading down to the platform from the Tbilisi Central building. Instead of pedestrian stairs, 4 new escalators will be installed at the station.
