The Tbilisi Municipal Inspection conducted a special operation in the vicinity of Marjanishvili metro station, within the framework of which unauthorized structures intended for street trading were dismantled and the area was cleared. 1TV+3

According to the Tbilisi City Hall, the traders did not obey the numerous warnings issued by the inspection representatives and continued their illegal activities in the public space arbitrarily. The City Hall notes that the structures were placed without permission. 1TV+3

According to the agency, illegal street trading and the placement of unauthorized structures distort the appearance of the city, restrict the movement of citizens, create unsanitary conditions, and cause dissatisfaction among the population. The Municipal Inspection states that no instance of restriction of public spaces will remain without a response and it will continue intensive monitoring. 1TV+3
