Irakli Kupradze criticizes gambling business regulations

Lelo-Strong Georgia Secretary General Irakli Kupradze stated that the Parliament is adopting a bill that will cause a social catastrophe for citizens. Kupradze claims that the gambling business turnover amounted to 88 billion GEL in 2025, and was 47 billion GEL in the first two quarters of 2026, which is 35% of the country's total business turnover. He demanded that gambling business owners be taxed at more than 20%. Interpressnews+1
