The Investigative Service arrested one person for the storage of excise-free cigarettes
- The Investigative Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia arrested one person for the storage and sale of an especially large quantity of excise-free cigarettes.
Imedi+4 - Law enforcement officers seized 4,243 packs of excise-free cigarettes from a retail facility, the value of which amounts to 28,040 GEL.

Employees of the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia arrested one person. According to the agency, the accused was storing and selling various brands of excise-free cigarettes at a retail facility. Imedi+3
As a result of investigative activities, 4,243 packs of excise-free cigarettes were seized from the facility, the total value of which is 28,040 GEL. Also, more than 100,000 GEL in cash obtained from the sale of cigarettes was seized. Imedi+4
The investigation is ongoing under the 3rd part of Article 200 of the Criminal Code of Georgia. This article provides for imprisonment for a term of 6 to 8 years as a form of punishment. Imedi+3
