K-pop phenomenon BTS unveiled their highly anticipated comeback world tour on January 13, 2026, featuring 79 performances across 34 cities from April 2026 through March 2027. The announcement marks the group’s triumphant return to the global stage following a four-year hiatus during which all seven members completed South Korea’s mandatory military service.
The tour, announced via the fan platform Weverse at midnight Korean Standard Time, will kick off with three consecutive nights at Goyang Stadium in South Korea beginning April 9, 2026, before heading to Tokyo. According to Billboard, the reunion could potentially generate over $1 billion in revenue from concerts, merchandise, licensing, album sales, and streaming combined.consequence

The tour will feature a 360-degree, in-the-round stage design, a departure from conventional end-stage setups that allows for greater audience capacity and a more immersive experience. Additional dates in Japan and the Middle East are expected to be announced.forbes
The tour coincides with BTS’s fifth studio album, scheduled for release on March 20, 2026. The 14-track project represents the group’s first full-length release in nearly four years, with all seven members deeply involved in the writing and production process.bbc
