First Lady Melania Trump unveiled the official trailer for her documentary film “MELANIA” on Wednesday, offering the first public glimpse of the project ahead of its January 30 theatrical release worldwide.foxnews

Fox News received exclusive access to the trailer, which opens with Trump entering the U.S. Capitol rotunda for her husband’s second inauguration, dressed in her navy Adam Lippes outfit. “Here we go again,” she says to the camera in the opening scene.indiatoday

Behind-the-Scenes Access

The documentary provides what Amazon MGM calls “unprecedented access” to Trump’s life during the transition period, following her between Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Trump Tower in Manhattan, and Washington, D.C.. The trailer features behind-the-scenes footage including preparations for the inaugural ball, the creation of her official portrait, and family moments with son Barron Trump and her father.foxnews

In one scene, Trump listens as the president rehearses his inaugural address. “My proudest legacy will be that of peacemaker,” he says, to which she responds, “Peacemaker and unifier”. The trailer concludes with a phone conversation where she tells him, “Hi, Mr. President, congratulations,” and when asked if she watched the election results, replies, “I did not. Production Details

Trump served as executive producer and was involved “in every aspect” of the film’s production, from creative vision to post-production marketing, according to sources familiar with the project. The documentary is directed by Brett Ratner, whose involvement marks his return to major Hollywood projects after facing sexual misconduct allegations in 2017, which he has denied.foxnews

Marc Beckman, Trump’s agent and senior advisor, led negotiations with Amazon CEO Andy Jassy beginning November 18, 2024. Disney, Netflix, and Paramount also competed for the rights before Amazon secured the deal.israelhayom
