1TV+21TV+31TV+3The Constitutional Court is hearing a lawsuit from Georgian Dream, which requests that the activities of opposition parties, including the National Movement, be declared unconstitutional and banned. During the hearing, National Movement representative Khatia Dekanoidze filed a motion to question Bidzina Ivanishvili as a witness. Dekanoidze noted that Ivanishvili rules the country single-handedly and that his questioning is necessary due to the Russian factor in the lawsuit. 1TV+4
Constitutional Court Chairman Revaz Nadaraia did not grant the motion and stated that the party could not substantiate the witness's relevance to the case, and that curiosity cannot be the basis for a motion. Nadaraia expelled Khatia Dekanoidze from the room, which he said was caused by disobedience to orders and the making of political statements. Dekanoidze will no longer be able to attend the proceedings for their entire duration, unless the court grants a motion for her return. 1TV+3
During the expulsion process, Khatia Dekanoidze asked the judge why she was being expelled, to which Nadaraia replied that she was disturbing the order. Dekanoidze also noted that while speaking about the legal part in court, she was reminded of an incident that occurred in Parliament, to which she recalled facts of violence against colleagues. At the same hearing, the court did not grant the opposition parties' motion for the recusal of the judges. Formula+4
