Closing event of the Anaklia Youth Camp

Georgia's Minister of Education, Science and Youth Givi Mikanadze attended the closing event of the Anaklia Youth Camp. The event was also attended by Deputy Minister Zviad Gabisonia, Member of Parliament Varlam Liparteliani, State Representative in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti Davit Verava, Mayor of Zugdidi Municipality Davit Kodua, Chairman of the City Council Mamuka Tsotseria, Rector of Tbilisi State University Jaba Samushia, and Head of the Youth Agency Alexandre Kajaia. The final 2026 session of the camp was visited by students from Tbilisi State University. 1TV+4

In his speech, Givi Mikanadze focused on student support initiatives within the framework of the higher education system reform. According to the Minister, work is underway to renovate the Shaori camp and the Kutaisi Youth Center, and the establishment of new camps is also planned. The Minister noted that there are concrete plans for the development of the youth program. 1TV+4

The goal of the Anaklia camp is to promote the social integration of young people, increase access to non-formal education, and popularize a healthy lifestyle and national values. Within the framework of the five-day program, participants were involved in educational, cognitive, and sports activities. This year, the camp's infrastructure and material-technical base were renovated. 1TV+3
