One person arrested in Gori on charges of fraudulent misappropriation of a large sum of money
- Employees of the Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested one person on charges of fraudulent misappropriation of a large sum of money.
Imedi+2 - According to the investigation's version, the accused promised citizens to import vehicles from the USA, for which he had them transfer 75,104 GEL to his bank account.

Employees of the Rustavi City Division of the Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested one person on charges of fraud. According to the investigation, the accused offered citizens to import vehicles from the United States of America, and in return, had them transfer 75,104 GEL to a bank account specified by him. According to law enforcement officers, the detainee did not fulfill the assumed obligations and unlawfully appropriated the transferred money. Law enforcement officers arrested the perpetrator in Gori as a result of operational and investigative activities. Imedi+5
An investigation into the incident is ongoing under Article 180 of the Criminal Code of Georgia. If proven guilty, this article provides for imprisonment for a term of up to 9 years. Imedi+4
