One person arrested for fraud in Kvemo Kartli

Employees of the Rustavi City Division of the Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested one person with a prior criminal record. He is charged with repeated fraudulent acquisition of a large amount of money. 1TV+4

According to the investigation's version, the accused sold two cars to a citizen and received the full amount. After the cars were re-registered in the buyer's name, the accused took them back for 10 days under the condition of renting them out and sharing the received profit, but he violated the agreement and sold the cars to other persons. 1TV+5

As a result of the mentioned act, the victim suffered material damage of 49,500 GEL. The investigation is ongoing under Article 180 of the Criminal Code, which provides for imprisonment for a term of up to 9 years. 1TV+3
