In the ruling team, the support of the bill by the deputies was explained by a technical error. The First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament Gia Volski stated that the deputies pressed the button out of "inertia". The leader of the parliamentary majority Irakli Kirkitadze noted that this incident is one of the proofs of a "technical error". Interpressnews+2
For his part, the representative of the "Gakharia for Georgia" party Giga Parulava stated that if the support was caused by a technical error, it does not reflect the real will of the deputies. The party demands a re-vote so that each deputy can clearly state their position. Interpressnews
