The Chairman of the Parliament emphasizes that appealing to the Constitutional Court on the issue of the constitutionality of any party is a constitutional right of members of parliament. In his assessment, questioning the legitimacy of the proceedings before the case is heard on its merits constitutes gross interference in the independence of the court and a violation of the principle of the rule of law. 1TV+3
According to Papuashvili, speaking in a threatening tone by foreign officials indicates a lack of understanding of democratic norms and violates the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of another country. He noted that the European Court of Human Rights has repeatedly confirmed the groundlessness of superficial and biased statements made from abroad regarding the Georgian judiciary. 1TV+4
