Tornike Paghava’s statement regarding investments in Georgia and the opposition’s position

Speaking at the plenary session of Parliament, Deputy Chairman of the European Integration Committee Tornike Paghava stated that the entry of two world-class development companies, Emaar Group and Trump Family (also referred to as Trump Tower), into Georgia is a significant event for the country's economy. Paghava noted that these projects are not only economic in nature, but also represent a political message that Georgia is an attractive place for international cooperation against the backdrop of ongoing conflicts in the region. During his speech, Tornike Paghava criticized "National Movement" representative Davit Sakvarelidze, who stated that Georgia has a chance to become a military-logistics hub.
