Apple TV+ is in the midst of its most concentrated content rollout to date, with a five-week stretch of high-profile premieres that began this week and extends through mid-April. The lineup spans docuseries, psychological thrillers, prestige sci-fi, and a star-studded comedy that earned enthusiastic reviews at its SXSW debut.
The run kicked off on March 13 with Twisted Yoga, a three-part docuseries about former members of a tantric yoga school who allege abuse by their spiritual leader, a Romanian figure now facing criminal charges in France. Next up is Imperfect Women, an eight-episode psychological thriller starring Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington that premieres March 18 with its first two episodes. Based on Araminta Hall’s novel, the limited series follows a crime that unravels a decades-long friendship among three women, with Kate Mara, Joel Kinnaman, and Corey Stoll rounding out the cast. Then on March 27, For All Mankind returns for a 10-episode fifth season, picking up in the 2010s after the Goldilocks asteroid heist that closed out season four. Capping the premiere sprint is Margo’s Got Money Troubles, which arrives April 15 with three episodes. The David E. Kelley-created dramedy, produced by A24, stars Elle Fanning as a college dropout and new mother who turns to OnlyFans to pay her bills, alongside Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicole Kidman, and Nick Offerman. The series premiered at SXSW’s opening night on March 12 at Austin’s Paramount Theater, where it drew strong reviews. The HoloFiles awarded it an 8.5 out of 10, praising Fanning’s performance and the show’s “heartwarming and hilarious family dynamics”. The concentrated schedule reflects a deliberate shift for the streamer, which has long drawn criticism for a thin content library compared to rivals like Netflix. Apple TV+ head of video Zack Van Amburg signaled the strategy last year, telling Screen International, “We have a new original nearly every single week” planned for 2026. The platform has also moved aggressively into live sports, folding MLS games directly into its main subscription and securing exclusive U.S. Formula 1 streaming rights.
