European Commissioner Marta Kos talks about the progress of Montenegro, Moldova and Ukraine’s European integration

At a press conference, European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos assessed the progress of EU candidate countries. According to her, Montenegro is in the final stretch of the accession process, and the country has already closed two-thirds of the negotiations. According to the European Commission's assessment, Montenegro has met all the conditions to close the remaining chapters, and work on the accession treaty is already underway, with its signing planned for June 2027. As for Ukraine, according to the European Commissioner, the country continues its path toward EU accession under the most difficult conditions.
