Irakli Gharibashvili himself, who was interrogated at a penitentiary institution, does not possess any authentic information regarding the circumstances of Jorbenadze's death, according to the prosecutor's explanation. The prosecutor noted that the letters circulated by Gharibashvili are based on rumors received from various media outlets and not on specific facts. According to Gharibashvili's lawyer, Natia Tamazashvili, the ex-prime minister asked questions after receiving information about the death because doubts about this issue had also been circulated in other media outlets.
