The Competition Agency has fined LLC “Tamoskin”

The Georgian Competition and Consumer Protection Agency has fined LLC "Tamoskin" 600 GEL. According to the agency's information, as a result of the case study, it was determined that the trader violated the Law of Georgia "on the Protection of Consumer Rights". Formula+3

By the agency's decision, LLC "Tamoskin" was instructed to bring its trade policy into compliance with the requirements of the law and restore the violated right of the consumer within a one-month period. Since the trader did not fulfill the assigned obligations within the specified period, a sanction was applied against it. Formula+2

When determining the amount of the fine, the agency took into account the trader's annual turnover for the previous financial year, based on which the calculated amount was 3 GEL. However, according to the legislation, the fine must not be less than 600 GEL, which is why LLC "Tamoskin" was imposed with exactly this amount. The imposition of the fine does not exempt the company from fulfilling the obligations determined by the agency. Formula+2
