Harry Styles is inviting fans to hear his upcoming album before its official release, announcing on Thursday exclusive listening parties across 40 cities that will begin February 18.
The events, which will give attendees the chance to hear “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.” in full more than two weeks before its March 6 release, were revealed through an Instagram post featuring Styles grinning in a black sweater with a smiley-face cutout. “We wanna dance with all our friends,” the Grammy winner wrote in his caption.billboard
Fans who have subscribed to Styles’ text updates received a link to a dedicated event page coinciding with the announcement. After joining a virtual queue, participants were directed to a submission form where they could enter their details for a chance to be selected, according to Billboard.billboard
In the United States, listening parties are scheduled for Los Angeles and Madison, Wisconsin. The full list of 40 cities spans multiple continents, though specific venues and times for many locations will be communicated directly to winners.billboard
The listening parties cap an elaborate promotional campaign for Styles’ fourth solo album, his first since the Grammy-winning “Harry’s House” in 2022. Lead single “Aperture” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this month, marking his third career chart-topper.billboard
The 40-city listening series will culminate with a special concert at Manchester’s Co-op Live arena on March 6, where Styles will perform the album live for the first time. Tickets for that show were priced at £20, according to the BBC.bbc
Following the album’s release, Styles will embark on his “Together, Together” world tour beginning May 16 in Amsterdam. The tour includes a 30-night residency at Madison Square Garden in New York City, his only North American dates of the year.harrystylestour
The 12-track album was executive produced by longtime collaborator Kid Harpoon, who has worked on all of Styles’ solo projects.theguardian
