Lovable Signs Multi-Year Deal With Google Cloud to Scale AI

Swedish AI startup Lovable announced an expanded multi-year collaboration with Google Cloud on Tuesday at the Google Cloud Summit Nordics ’26 in Stockholm, positioning the hyperscaler as one of its primary technology partners as the company pursues enterprise customers for its AI-powered application builder.yahoo

The Deal

The partnership anchors Lovable’s platform on Google Cloud’s AI infrastructure and Gemini models, with the company increasing its usage of Google Cloud infrastructure fivefold. Lovable says its users now process more than one million new projects every week, a volume that demanded enterprise-grade backing from a hyperscaler.thenextweb

The collaboration rests on three pillars. First, Lovable has launched its agent in Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise Agent Gallery, a vetted catalogue of third-party agents for corporate adoption. Second, a new integration with Wiz, the cloud-security company Google is acquiring, provides real-time vulnerability identification and remediation in AI-generated code, along with continuous scanning, dependency checks, and audit trails. Third, simplified procurement and billing through Google Cloud Marketplace removes friction for enterprise buyers.streetinsider

Enterprise Ambitions

Lovable has grown rapidly since its founding in Sweden around the concept of “vibe coding” — turning natural-language prompts into full-stack applications. The company raised a $200 million Series A in mid-2025 at a $1.8 billion valuation and was reported to be valued at around $6.6 billion by the end of that year, according to The Next Web. Builders have created more than 25 million projects in Lovable’s first year, with Lovable-built applications drawing 600 million visits a month.thenextweb

Competitive Landscape

The deal carries competitive implications. Lovable operates in a crowded field alongside Cursor, Replit, and Bolt, while AI model providers themselves are building rival app-creation tools. Tying closely to Google Cloud gives Lovable a hyperscaler’s distribution and infrastructure, slotting into Google’s broader push to win the “agentic enterprise” — the same campaign behind its $750 million partner fund for agentic AI announced at Google Cloud Next in April.techcrunch
